Welcome — I’m the artist behind Real Wings Butterflies, a one-woman studio where I create real butterfly wing jewelry and handcrafted shadowbox art inspired by the beauty and symbolism of nature.

For over 20 years, I’ve worked with butterflies — drawn to their vibrant wings, delicate structure, and the meaning they carry. After the profound loss of my 8-year-old child, butterflies took on a deeper significance. They became symbols of hope, healing, and transformation — a quiet reminder that beauty can rise from change.

Each piece I create is designed to preserve nature’s fragile magic and turn it into something lasting. I work only with ethically sourced butterflies that have lived out their full natural life cycle, crafting art that honors both their beauty and their story.
